From Lima, Peru, to the heart of Baltimore, Dr. Villaran has dedicated her career to the belief that education is the most powerful tool for opportunity. With over a decade of leadership in public and charter school systems, she founded Villa Education Consulting to bridge the gap between potential and achievement.

A specialist in school leadership and instructional equity, she holds an Ed.D. from Johns Hopkins University, as well as degrees from Notre Dame of Maryland and Towson University. Her work focuses on:
